This is a cute and well taken shot. You captured nice detail. I appreciate the realistic colors. The birds are in good focus. The caterpillar indeed seems pretty big. No wonder the little one had some difficulty with it. The birds are well placed into the frame. The photo is balanced. The tall framing is adequate.

Ha! Now that is what I call a Mouth Full. That caterpillar looks about as big as the poor little guy's head.

Good eye for seeing this one and being alert to the sounds around you.

Good story telling image Nancy. Looking forward to more of this action ~ Steve

Well Nancy how about this then!!

You could not have timed this any better could you?? And how she must of trusts you not to harm her chick for she seem totally oblivious that you were there!! Love the moment abd it tells a story and it leaves no imagination to the viewer of whats going to happen next!

Cool,Nancy! : D
I guess there'll be at least one less Butterfly in action next year, won't there?
But 'such is life' in the Natural World and your interesting photo of these little birds exercising one of the 'primal instincts' looks Great!

Helvi,
A beautiful picture of the Chipping Sparrow mother with a green caterpillar clenched in her beak about to feed her fledgling. beautiful composition, framed by the grass that surrounds them & lit u by the sun shining down on them. Taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
