this nice human is inviting me over for dinner!..wink wink..lol..the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of both young and old swan is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Are they such young when the leave? Incredible moment and you where present as always especial moments - a big good bye - your frame is perfect , your position and perspective are excellent as the story becomes visible - good framing , good exposure, the soft fog or noise somehow reflects the sadness of mom... well done

Fred,
A beautiful picture of the growing Mute Swan cygnet swimming ahead of it's watchful parents with their reflections are an added bonus. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A very well cropped shot that makes the cygnet the focus of our attention. The exposure for the white feathers is good and the reflections are eye catching.

I love the light reflections on the surface of the water and the gentle ripples caused from the one parent searching for food. The patent in the foreground has a look of concern as the cygnet swims away.

You are most welcome. I always enjoy your work.

I really like the overall composition with the cygnet coming right at the viewer. I often have difficulty with lighting/contrast in swan photos. I would have liked to have seen a bit of adjustment in contrast perhaps to bring up a bit more detail.

"Be careful, don't go too far." This little one is off to explore, but mom is keeping a watchful eye in case of hidden dangers. Dad on the other hand is hiding his head. Fun and interesting shot, well taken. Controlled whites, sharp focus, interesting composition, nice reflection.

A quite poignant nature shot posted here! Well, there has to be a time when the young leave their parents!! Your fine composition is suggestive of this. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well taken!

The mother swan appears to have a very concerned look! This is a fine shot of the swan family! . The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!
