Very very nice. Muscles, bones, every part well defined and proportioned. ;-)
This is the first realistic piece I've seen from you. Congrats

    You earned it!! ;-)

This piece is reminds me of The "Old Jew and a Boy" painting by Picasso during his blue period. It has the same dark and somber mood. I like the way you handled the muscle structure.

Very impressive. Such emotion. I can feel the sadness and sense of loss. Great use of light and darks to highlight certain spots. Nice depth perception

Awesome work. This is a great entry into the contest. The shading, the form, the composition and the muscular structure of this person is excellent and on point. The dark background and white highlights complements each other very well. Great job

This is so different from what we usually see from you. Very interesting. Very modern and almost abstract feel. Somewhat surrealistic. Interesting take on the human form with distorted muscles and bones. There is a sense of despair and anguish in the piece. Nice use of color. Good use of the medium. Well done.

A very interesting entry for this contest. Your ability to use your instrument to create a piece with such detail is very impressive. Your title perfectly represents what one sees in the contest. Lovely work. Best of luck in the contest.

OMG this would be a perfect one to hang in any office of a humanitarian foundation - the mixture of reality and abstract is striking- the depth of field is excellent and the color range just reflects a starving ambiance - life has no color for this man - your detail work on this body is beyond and Would like to honor you with a golden star but run out already - excellent job

The feeling of despair is very palpable in this dark image.I think many of us have felt this way at some point in our lives, where we become overwhelmed and don't know where to turn. Sometimes it feels as though you are in the bottom of a deep pit,and don't know how to get out. you have done an excellent job of portraying this emotion by the positioning of your figure;your shading bringing out the musculature really adds depth and realism to him. I wish you the very best in the contest with your image!
