This does look cold! I really like the monochromatic colors in the scene and the way you framed the angles of the landscape is very attractive. I think this shot was well worth the ranger reprimand, lol :)

This is a beautiful winter scene and you have photographed it very well, this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, nice tonal variations ! I like the snow covered ground in the foreground leading to the water and the bare winter trees . Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!
