Very good entry for the contest. Lovely close up of the beautiful Doe with a dusting of fresh snow on her head. Represents the cold weather perfectly. Very good lighting and focus. Excellent composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

I think the snow covered face makes her look extra adorable! Those ears and the shape of her nose are very cute. You captured nice detail of her face and her eye.

A beautiful picture of this Doe with it's nose covered in powdery snow one eye fixed on you her ears cocked to catch every word you said. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A very nice shot that is perfectly exposed for the snow. The tight composition is very nice and the detail in the doe are great. I like the colors and the softened background. Best of luck in the contest.

A very good entry into the competition posted here! Yes, she certainly does look pretty cold out there! Your full, fine and central composition offers us a nice winter portrait to enjoy. Like the ear detail provided. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done and good luck!

Poor baby...she looks cold with all that snow around her and on her. I like the fur detail on her face and in her ears. She seems to have reddish brown eyebrows that arch above the white fur around her eyes. Softening the background allowed her to be the primary focus.

She's so pretty and the dusting of snow shows us that it's cold, I always wonder if these animals feel cold in winter.she is well captured with good focus, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones and the white snow appear natural. Well composed close up ! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Thank you for the great review and well wishes!,They put on quite a bit of fat by the fall, some ,especially the fawns, look chubby.Their winter coats keep them well insulated,so you often see them covered with snow,it doesn?t melt! :)

I see a possible winner of the cold photo contest here because it's really shows how snow and cold weather affects the nature and animals. The close up portrait of a snow doe is beautiful! Perfectly cropped and adjusted! It was a good idea to softened the background. All natural colors and tones. Excellent presentation! Good luck in the contest!
