Very nicely done piece of art!
Love those yellow and the flower forms that deep purple base makes a great added use of colour as does the green making the painting have the almost 3D quality about it, the detail is superb especially on those leaves! good luck with the contest!

This is a lovely representation of the color yellow. I like how you have provided several views and stages of the blooms. Your details are realistic. I especially enjoy the designs in the leaves and the three dimensional appearance of the bud. The background colors look great too.

I like it, but it reminds me too much of water lilies floating in a pond, perhaps a taller stem to give the flowers height and a bit more yellow highlights and bluer background?
