The reds and browns(?) are vivid and the flower is easy to distinguish. The dripping effect in the background is pleasing too. The arrow struck hearts appear a little cartoonish in comparison to the rest of the painting, but the shade of them rounds out the colors. I really like it :)

Beautifully done piece of traditional art, love the idea of the dripping reds washing into everything but still retaining the forms and detail of the roses! Its very stylised and very original as if you are trying to tell a personal story behind this especially with those two heart and aroow drawings included! Good luck with the contest!

This is a beautiful red rose, I like the way you have created and placed this red rose on the page, it's well shaped with good structure, the hearts show that this rose is the symbol of love. I like this it is innovative and a step up from traditional pure art with use of software variations. The red is velvety i can almost feel its softness. The running colour ecfwct is also interesting. It is showing pure art skill i would like to have see this in its 'nude' form before the additions. I bet that was good also.
