The colors are beautiful and the I really like what the texture from the paper adds to this lovely painting.
The colorful leaves along with the birds of paradise buds are lovely with fine details.

This looks like it was tough to do on watercolor paper but it looks like you achieved your results. Nice mixture of colors used and fine brush strokes applied. Good luck in the contest

I for one am Very Impressed with this work of watercolor wonder.
I am not an artist and I tried a paint for fun class one time. It was much harder than I thought and my work was a great piece to laugh at.
That is why I so appreciate All the patience you showed in allowing this to take on life.
The colors and details are very well done and such a unique change from the Normal flowers which will no doubt be entered into the contest.
You Definitely have a lot of talent. I very much look forward to seeing more of your works.

A remarkable image for a water color. It looks like that was a heck of a lot of masking to get such sharp delineation. Great colors and beautiful composition. Good luck in the contest.

I only masked the outside outline of the flowers and leaves so that the background color did not run into those areas. It was not too difficult. I always soap my brush before dipping it into the mask which makes it flow more smoothly and keeps it from damaging my brush. Thank you for your fine review and rating.

Very beautiful and well balanced,the pastel background sets off the lovely bird of paradise blooms and their wonderful foliage. Your shading brings depth to the blossoms and i love the veining in the leaves. A great entry for the contest,I wish you the very best with your artistic image!
