These are very pretty and the clarity shows such sharp detail. I like how the light emphasizes the fine little hairs around the petals. The softness and color of the background also looks great.

The changes you made are perfectly done. They are invisible. The details of the flowers are very crisp. The single hairs show perfectly. The colors work well on the darkened background. The branch is excellently paced into the frame the diagonal is eye-pleasing. The composition is balanced. Best luck for the contest.

This is an exceptional shot Nancy! Your focus is so sharp that I can see each little fuzzy 'hair'. Beautiful color too, and the background is blurred just right to make the flowers 'pop'. I think this is one of your best!

Wow this is terrific!!

The deatil is popping especially around the flowers edges you can reach in and touch them!

Love the colour contrasts with the dark green backdrop this pushes the reds and yellows out from it making this have that very 3D like apperance, love the light use as well! Good luck with the contest!
