Placement of the ceiling lights in the center of the shot provides good framing and depth of field. It also provided the line for the eye to follow. The clarity and detail of that "sea of humanity" is excellent.

Well captured to show this large crowd participating in this Hindu worship in the temple, I really like the composition showing how large this crowd is, I like the colors and lighting. Artists notes are informative, well presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!

Your notes are very interesting and so is the image. The amount of people in the scene makes a great story and creates a large sense of depth into the background.

Certainly a lot going on in this and fits the contest for sure,maybe those top lights are a tad bright but its part of the overall effect so not much you can do about this,thanks for entering...Brian

this is a great and unique journalistic capture, something than one can only see in India; very impressive to see all these men, as far as the eye can see, all half naked; thanks for your interesting notes;
I attended something similar about 50 years ago in Varanasi (Benares): it was a Ganga Arti ceremony on the banks of the Ganges river: an unforgetable experience;
