    Mark,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this little European Robin only half the size f it's American cousin but with a very feisty character who guards it's territory almost to the death against other visiting Robins who might attempt to poke their beaks in search of food & or to pinch the other's Mate!!!

This little fledgling is truly cute Susan, and you have pictured it so well. Especially the bright shiny eye is well captured, and the bird is also standing out really well against the background.

Your focus is spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in the feathers, and the exposure is very good.

The cropping is working well and the bird is well placed off to the left. I also think the vignette you have added looks fine. A truly sweet and well taken photo, and with a good DOF.

LOL. Great shot here Susan. The youngsters always look so rough around the edges and pretty scraggly.

Nice placement in the frame with good focus and details in the feathers.

The vignette accents this little one very nicely. Nice work Susan ~ Steve

    Adrian,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this fledgling Robin. Yes i'm very lucky with the numerous visiting birds in my garden which is on the wild & slightly overgrown...I'm the only garden in this side of the Grove that has a trees & bushes ( A Mulberry , a Wild Lilac & a Smoke tree, Red & Black currants & Raspberries )in the garden added to the fact I feed the birds year round...Juno~Dog takes care of the visiting cats. She just chases them off.

a wonderful a natural image of the fledgling, I like the way the little bird is looking at you, wonderful eye capture with a great catchlight, the light really catches the new feathers and shows great detail, nice use of the vignette to draw the attention to the little bird. wonderful.

Oh this little one is so cute!! I like his baby coloring and cute little markings. It is interesting to see your robins at this stage before they get the red breast.

I was tickled by the title of this image. The feather details you captured on its plumage are really superb. I especially liked the golden tipped feathers and the gold stripes in the tail feathers.

A very nice pose and a fine shot of this little beauty. The speckled plumage of this juvenile is good to see. Great colors in this nicely composed shot.

The fledgling indeed seems fearless. It looks as if the bird is rather annoyed about the photographer interrupting its investigation of the planter. Might the fledgling found some food there. The details body and plumage of the juvenile are well refined. The light reflection in its eye is intriguing the vignette is appropriate. The photo is well composed.
