A well composed shot with lots of room for the horses to run into. I am not too fond of the billboards in the background but the action of the horses is well recorded. Best of luck in the contest.

Can you imagine if someone named a horse "your ass"..oh I can hear the announcer.."and here comes Your Ass around the bend..now Your Ass has taken the lead! Your Ass is now up front!.." oh I can play with that idea for a while..lol. the clarity is great. The Capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of these riders and horses is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Nice stop action of the horses running down the stretch. You can clearly see the leg positions and the body shapes. I would have cropped less on the left so that the tail wasn't clipped. Good colors. On my monitor this is a bit bright and could be pulled down just a little. I think that would give it a richer feel. Well seen and well shot.

Full of action and drama Brian exactly what is needed in sports photography!
Great composition and framing with the two horses and riders in the far left this gives the space for them to move into, if feels like you are there watching them and cheering them on!

You have really captured the competitive energy of this turf race. The tucked bodies of the jockeys and the rippled and bulging muscles of the horses show the intensity of this race and the determination of each jockey to win.
