I think this is very creative. I enjoy seeing the constellations mapped out in the sky. I can see the Big Dipper, Delphinus, Capricorn and Aquila! I also like how you created the moonlight shining across the water too.

Thank you. You know your stars. Well done. I researched them but have to say fitted them in where I could so not the real deal but I was happy with that result. Your comments really appreciated.

Excellent choice of subject.
Aptly captured for the contest theme...
An impressive artwork rendition.

Colorful creation with excellent strokes & textures.

Good compositional style. Great overall impact!

(A lower, leveled, third grid horizon would give more focal attention on the contest theme)

Thanks for sharing...

Beautiful! The detail in the sky with the constellations really draws the viewer in with the moon being the focal point of the sky and the reflection of said moon in the ocean. The shading on the land along the horizon could be softer. Moonlight isn't nearly as harsh or as bright as sunlight so be careful :). All in all, a great seascape piece!

Hey, that is why they call it artistic license. I love your constellations and the moon reflections on the water and the shore line. I know moonlight does reflect in a straight line on water but I would have made the reflection get wider as it approaches the foreground to add additional depth; think beam of a flashlight.
