You have achieved a good perspective and wonderful Point of view. Good differentiation and contrast in your scene with the gorgeous architecture in the background. Very well photographed in good lighting, sharp focus, and outstanding details and clarity in your image. Your wide aperture has rendered the background recognizable with a good depth of field. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

Great look at the skyline of the city where I grew up! I like how the walkway leads the eye into the photo and I like the slightly off center placement of the John Hancock building. I hope you had some time to see Chicago while you there. It's a beautiful city.

been there..nice folks but to darn cold for my taste..wink..the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of folks, water, and city skyline is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Your kind and supportive review is appreciated! I am somewhat surprised that you did not like the people in the shot? Yes, there was a very long boardwalk there which I did stroll along.

Nik,
An interesting picture of Chicago's concrete jungle skyline seen from a walkway on lake Michigan on which the skyscrapers & the overcast sky are reflected. The dark skyscraper in the centre catches my eye & draws it into the picture. Beautiful composition framing lighting taken with superb camera techniques sharp focus.

A stunning shot as you let Chicago appear as an enlightened divine city - this moment in time nature gave you the perfect ambiance and your achievement is stunning
excellent initial impression - perfect distance and framing, your picture is clear and sharp running into the mystic on the city. Well done

Nice journalistic capture of this skyscrapers!
Diminishing perspective gives a better depth....

An interesting initial impact.
Almost monochromatic...

Dreary skyline.
Good placement of human subjects in the frame.

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

You have captured the wraparound walkway, with its progressively diminishing figures, beautifully.Reflections of light on the rippling water is,also, well done.
Cordially,

Excellent shot of the Chicago skyline. Looks like the Windy City could've used some of that wind to blow the clouds away that day! But, it looks like you still had very good lighting anyway. Well done!

A very fine shot. The Chicago skyline is great and that causeway at the bottom really adds interest. The people are well placed and the colors are fantastic.
