Wow I love this Linda, you can definitely tell you put Alot of effort in this painting. Everything has been rendered and blended really well. The position of the boy draws your eye in. It can be challenging, as an artist, to try new things haha.... This one definitely works.

You really captured your theme in this one. I can actually see him running.. The reflection of the boy is spot on, but where are the splashes since he's running in shallow water? Otherwise excellent job!

He is running on a damp beach where the tide has receded. I took this from an actual photo.

Wonderful watercolour Linda I love the simplicity of the sunbject and theme and its been very well painted if I may say so! That summertime topic really does come across with his shorts and that floppy hat but its those wonderful reflections and the running action that wins this for me! A great contest entry!
