Your granddaughter was truly sweet as a baby, and I bet she still is. You have pictured her so well, and I fell in love with the big blue eyes straight away. You have captured them so well.
Your photo is sharp with clear and well defined details, but at the same time it has a nice softness to it. The exposure is perfect for baby skin like this.
I think the vignette you have added works well, but I think it is a pity that the head if the baby is cut by the frame. Still this is a truly lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

A very cute baby and a great shot. I like the skin tones and the detail in those great baby blues. I might consider cropping into a vertical composition by cropping just behind her head. Best of luck in the contest.

beautiful baby, but the fact that you have cut off is head distracts, you should have made a step back in order to have some space above his head as there is in the bottom

I can see why. She is gorgeous! Those big blue eyes and that rosebud pink mouth just melt your heart. I like the quizzical look her raised eyebrows create on that cherubic face. So cute!
