Perfect little yellow hearts! Flower is nicely placed off center, with the stem and buds leading the eye subtly to the subject! Nice job focusing on the flower, while allowing for background to be blurred. Great shot! Thank you for sharing!

What a beautiful little wild flower, Grace - all those heart petals. Very good lighting and focus showing excellent detail in the flower markings. The softened background really works well. I like how you positioned the flower in the frame. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Grace I think this one would've won the flower contest for wild
Flowers! I love it that I can see the hearts in nature! Perfectly titled with a most beautiful soft lemon color! Fantastic off centering and beautiful soft detail!

Oh how cool Grace. This is such an eye appealing image. The soft nature of things gives a nice peaceful feeling.

The Yellow flower stands out so boldly but not too dramatically as to take away from the beauty of the scene.

The softly focused greens in the background really accent the perfect flower.

A real wall hanger.

Very well done Grace ~ Steve

I love the artistry in the natural world. I had to double take to see that yes the petals are shaped like hearts.. Perfectly soft, lighting just right, sharp focus, and nice blur. Well done!

Isn't nature grand! This little flower is so beautiful. Your capture is very nice, placing it off center with the nice green foliage behind. I don't know what your post-processing was but, it looks like you added a diffusion filter to give it a soft painterly look to it. Whatever it was, it works really beautifully in this image.

It is grand! Thank you Donna :) The original has several blossoms that I cropped out. I resized for the site and I sharpened it a smidge for the resize, didn't use any filters. 1/1300, f/4, ISO 320, 103.7mm focal length from about a foot away.

Such a truly delicate and exquisite small yellow wildflower that you have shown us here in all of its beauty. I love the sunlight green buds to the left and the placement of the wildflower off centre. Wonderful clarity and focus. A pleasure to view!

This is a lovely little flower! It's great that you were able to achieve such sharpness and detail in such a small subject. I like the lovely pastel shades of yellow and green.
