It is one essential rule in contests like this, and that is a perfect stop action, and you have for sure managed this well. The animal is so lovely as well, and is standing out from the green grass in an excellent way.
Your photo is also pin sharp showing truly clear and well defined details in every part of the animal, and the exposure is perfect. I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.
The format and framing is very good and the animal has got a fine placement off to the left. A truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
