This is awesome! Nice stop of this action as the green heron walks across the leaves and lily pads on the pond, I like the water drops on and dripping from his foot, his crown feathers crested up , he is well placed in the frame, leaving plenty of room to move into, he is well focused, the image is sharp and clear, exposure is well managed, his colors and tones appear natural, I see good detail over every part of this bird, love his clear eye! Well composed and presented!

I have only seen this kind of erect crest of feathers on a green heron a couple times and he was moving quickly both times. A great shot with fine detail and beautiful colors.

So cute. His little outstretched food definitely resembles how I remember the road runner's feet looking from those old Looney Toons cartoons with the coyote in the desert. "Beep beep". Haha, also this is a really great shot.
