I think it's beautiful. The glow of the green on certain sections of the formation. Like what a volcano in another planet would look like. Or a really bad day at a nuclear power plant. In any case it's a very eye catching image. Thanks so much, John

    Hey John!

Thanks so much for your imaginative review and Grand rating. I had people send in potential titles for this abstract. Many were very imaginative. For me...I have no clue what to title it.

Glad you liked it John. Thanks again for you review and rating ~ Steve

I think this is an interesting image full of wonderful textures and light - which is something you are quite talented with. I enjoy the richness of the darker areas that resemble bark.

I feel like I am looking at some rock from outer space here, perfects a asteroid with tons of rich minerals, love the light on top, no wonder you won some mentions ect

Wow! I'm sure the Little beard green man called Leprechaun would be interested to know what's on the other side of that mountain lol. Could it be a pot of gold? Green Lava? Alien invasion lol. I would title it What's on the other side of the Mountain.

LOL. Thanks a lot for your very cool review and commentary Kevin. "What's on the Other Side of the Mountain?". I like that. Yes I can see where the little green men would be attracted to the shiny glow. The glow could Great thought. Thanks again for your review Kevin ~ Steve

"The Great Reveal". That's right. That's just what came to mind, the very moment I saw this.

Like an ultimate search, I see a huge pile of treasure as I climb what appears to be a mountain of great value.

Looks like gold, but the green neon lights above, give it a rare Lustre, which makes it more attractive and appealing.

It's transcending, as the inquirer is drawn from darkness to light. You clearly make the journey an interesting one, as the graduation of shades, leading towards the lights, are piled like a mountain stair case.

Finally, your focus is on the peak, hence the vignette, and that's most appealing.

Need I say your finishing was quite commendable? Oh yeah. You sure do know what you're doing.

I love your work and I celebrate your creativity. Well done and keep it coming.

A very intriguing image full of detail and rough texture, very dark and mysterious. could be a section of a tree with it's scaly bark,or a fire hardened asteroid hurtling through the darkness of space.I like the greenish light about it,very mysterious and other worldly. The title I am thinking of is The Emerald Fire Within.

"The Emerald Fire Within". That is very cool. You are right, it looks somewhat like tree bark or an asteroid that has had a close encounter with the sun and is fire hardened. Very insightful. Much better than I could come up with.

Thank you very much for your insightful commentary and Very cool Title ~ Steve

"Hidden in the Bark" of this tree stump with a glowing purple eye in the centre & a source of glowing light behind it. Each time I look I can see a different species of the Wolf's descendants a Labrador, a small terrier, a Poodle & a fox chasing a duck. Interesting composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Thank you Susan. "Hidden in the bark". That is a very interesting title. I had not noticed that before. Good eye Susan. I do see some animal shapes in the rough bark like lines. I agree with you in that every time I look at it I see something different.

Thank you again Susan for your very insightful review and Title ~ Steve

I'd call this Kryptonite! I love the feeling of it gives me if 'lost in space' And that eerie glow above the rock, is really cleverly done. Clearly looks metallic and very textural, fascinating!

"Hope springs eternal" This is a lovely textural study, open to interpretations. Interesting lighting. The couple sprigs of life coming out in the center plus the backlight are what led me to the title suggestion. Good use of light and shadow.

When looking at abstract art, the viewer needs to let himself/herself be stirred by the movement of ideas in his/her unconscious mind . This evokes a mixed feeling of awe and mystery. Interesting presentation. Thanks for sharing!
