A nice pair of ladies who seem to have met to discuss the morning fishing. A fine image that is nicely composed with those out of focus leaves around the edges. Great colors and nice detail.

I really like the curved branches they are perched upon. The searching posture of each bird clearly shows they are anticipating something. That clear sky behind them really shows off the muted colors of their plumage. Most of the time that I have seen these birds they are either drying their wings or fishing so I had not noticed their light bellies and brown throats.
