This is so precious! The babies are so adorable with their fuzzy down feathers, which stand out nicely with the sharp clarity of your shot. I like the pose which emphasizes the family status of these birds.

This is beautiful. It is classical in its composition. The quality of photography is outstanding. The subject of this full family, the capture of their positions, the perfect expisure goving fone details, all well timed.

I'm not sure whether I'm attracted by the fact that this is family, they're egrets, the parents are present or that the contrasting background adds a priceless effect to this beautiful photograph.

But this I'll say,

You're a great photographer and your timing and focus are all so commendable.

Well done.

This really is a wonderful nature moment Barbara it would have been a classic without the parent feeding one of its young but to get that momnet pushes this well above the normal nature photo, this should be on a front cover of a bird or nature magazine!

The perfect nature family portrait, one standing guard while the other tends to their offspring. A nice tight grouping, but you can still seee all three birds very well/This is beautifully composed and presented, this egret family stands out beautifully against a natural,non-distracting background. The definitive entry for the contest, this will definitely be a very strong contender, wish you the very best in the voting!

This is a stunning family portrait of these egrets. I am drawn to the delicate down on the chicks and how the green skin mimics the green color on the parent faces. The nest is texturally beautiful its intertwined twigs.

With the young Egret's bill wrapped around his mother's,this is a tender and heartwarming family photograph. The father,to the right of the mother, stands watch, guarding her and his family.
Cordially,
Joanna Bachman
