Lovely family portrait of the egrets in the nest. Dad watching over all as Mom tends to the young ones. Beautiful environment that shows their nesting patterns and sets them off from the background. Good color and sharpness. Great detail. Well done!

I've seen a lot of great entries for the letter "E" contest but nothing as lovely as these Egrets. I love how one of the parents is tending one of the chicks. I can't imagine anyone else winning this contest. From subject to lighting and focus you have a real winner here! :o) Helvi

Wow! This is so beautiful and well photographed! Perfect focus ! The image is sharp and clear, exposure is well managed , nice detail throughout,nice whites ! Good eye contact act on all but the one near moms bill, it's a wonderful family of Egrets! Well deserving of a six, sadly I don't have one! Very best wishes to you in this contest! The focus is very clear. Detail, structure and clarity the birds' feathers , beaks and eyes are well done. White balance is right on target with the dark background just right to complement the subjects.

This must be one of the most beautiful photos I have seen of an Egret family, and I also like very much the background and how the nest work as a nice and natural framing. The darkness of the background makes the white birds stand out in an excellent way.
The photo is also pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in all the birds, and the exposure and white balance is perfect.
The photo is so nicely cropped and all the birds have got a perfect placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo and with an excellent DOF. I think it is going to be hard to beat this in the contest, and I wish you luck. Sorry I have run out of 6 stars ratings, because this photo for sure are worth them.
