This is a lovely scene Allan, and even if the photo has got an abstract touch, it is not difficult to see what this is. I almost wish I could have seen it unedited, but I also like the effects you have added. I also like how the path is working as a nice and natural leading line into the composition.
Of course it is impossible to comment on the sharpness, but the trees are standing out well, and I really like the limited color pallet. Also the exposure is very good.
The format and framing is perfect, and with the path staring in the bottom left corner, it is a very good balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely, creative and well done mixed media photo.

Seriously though,my friend, I think that's a fine looking picture!
Trails leading through the woods always have a pleasantly Mysterious aspect to them ( especially when they're trails leading through Dark and Snowy woods like in this scene! ) and I like that a lot! : )
