What a spectacular first impression this makes! Definitely suggestive of pagan ritual. The colors are wonderful and the placement of the sun between the antlers is perfect. Great job!

Good artists notes .....I enjoyed reading your interesting and informative notes. The colors in your sunset are so beautiful and the deer skull adds a wonderful silhouette effect and brings good contrast to your scene. Visually strong and the haze from the wildfires gives a dreamy effect to your photography. Very well photographed in good lighting, sharp focus, and outstanding details and clarity in your image. I think this was a great idea, and the whole image has a flare of mysticism. Of course because of the skull with antlers, but also because of the perfect placement of the sun in the center. I especially like that the skull is so well lit in spite of the back light.
The photo is nice and sharp with clear details, and the skull is standing out so well against the fantastic looking sky. The exposure is perfect.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo and the centered position of the skull and sun. Indeed a great looking and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

Wow! I really like Pagan sun! You clearly spent time setting it up and the outcome is really good...although it is a little creepy ..but I think it's meant to be ! It looks like it could be a super book cover, great technical expertise me thinks!
