I'd been hearing about the wild fires up near Hudson Bay from my contacts in northern Quebec and it's great to see someone making use of the hazy 'Fire Sky' that's being caused by them in such an interesting and enjoyable manner! : D

Deer skull shots! This reminds me of an ancient ritual of sorts...and the glow of the sun with the amber sky is simply stunning between the antlers!

An eye catching image similar to some of those by Adriansart. The light coming through the eye sockets is definitely spooky and the colors are fantastic. A treat to see this one.

Wow this is completely awesome LeeAnn! It really is, it's so unique in the subject matter and in the way the deer skull is placed in frame so that the horns frame the sun perfectly! This was very well thought out and set up! It's beautiful and I can see this hanging on display in a beautiful cabin or in a lodge ! You have photographed it very well with spot on focus, the image is clear, lighting is well managed , I love the colors in the sky from the haze brought by the wildfires! This looks like the sun here last night! This s is deserving of a six, I'm just sorry I don't have one!

well its very cool..you did an excellent job on the blend of images..looks like skull was captured with this sun behind it. great choice on the background as well. the clarity is excellent. the creation is very well balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. creative approach and awesome work overall(clapping)

Thanks,I had lots of fun trying to get the skull angled right without it falling off the ?totem?,which I was afraid it would do before I started shooting!

When I first saw this it reminded me of the legends of the chupacabra. The deer skull resting on the tree stump creates an image from a Steven King novel. I really like the warm glow of the sun between the antlers.
