Wow!This is a super close-up shot of the strange looking dragonfly! You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

A very nice shot. I like this close up that shows not only your strange formations but also the delicate tracery of the veins in the wings. Great colors and excellent cropping.

Very nice macro of the dragonfly. How did yo get it to stand still and not fly away. Sharp focus and great detail. Nice patterns in the wings. Well seen and captured.

I am no expert on insects or dragonflies, so I cannot help you with your identification problems! I can say though that you have posted an interesting shot here. Your image benefits from having good composition with fine exposure and sharpness. Nicely done!

This is lovely.

Perfect timing and angle.

You captured the open wings and seemed to be spying on the dragon like a hawk in the sky.

I also like the way you centralized your focus, balancing the dragon in the middle.

And knowing you didn't crop this, makes it all worth the accolades.

Well done. Keep it coming.

Fred,
An amazing picture of this Dragonfly with it's green eyes silvery thorax, abdomen & gossamer wings the backgrong seen clearly thorough the showing off the tiny dark veins like the lead in a stained glass window. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
