Great drawing. The first thing that came to mind before I read your description is a playing card. I zoomed in saw how detailed the shaded areas are. I think those are just random shapes but there are so many. Must have taken you a while.

A beautiful drawing. This is one of the most stylized representations of Ganesha that I have ever seen. I like the trunk and tusk. A fine composition with great colors. Best wishes in the contest.

Wow!!! This just looks like a Print. It's neatly drawn and has a perfect finish. I had to read a bit to see this wasn't a Poker card.
You're so talented and I like the consistency with which your wine red resonates around the piece of art.

Wow Seshadri how about this! Obviously you have done it for different reasons but when I first looked at it, my first thoughts were playing cards, the king of hearts, but then the elephant come into view and all the rest follows, love the design and the very stylised use of colours!

Yes. The moment I read the contest, this is the only figure that immediately came to my mind! I have a few of them in my personal portfolio. Being in Bombay, one just can't be without Ganesha. He is extremely popular and an inspiration to artists to express themselves,be it paintings, drawings, sculptures etc!:) He lends himself to all kinds of artistic liberties that one takes!Thanks so very much for your time and the fine review!
