WOW this one has really a critical look - seems he is perceiving you loll - excellent capture - I love the uniform blue sky so the branch and the bird stand out clearly and sharp - this bird seem to have no feathers - a really special species - excellent angle and view point - well framed, well composed with the perfect camera settings - a really lovely shot thanks for sharing

Thank you! Their texture is very smooth like wax -except when it is very windy and they puff up :)

A sitting bird shot is certainly beautiful. Not only were you thoughtful enough to capture these rare moments, you were also careful not to scare it away, and yes, it's watching its environment.

You have a perfect shot, Greta lighting and sharp focus.

I like this. Please keep it coming.

That is a gorgeous bird. Its pose looks sophisticated. The light painted a golden shine on its head which you have exquisitely captured. The angle of the shot gives us an excellent view of the entire body. The intriguing colors of the bird are sufficiently emphasizes by the blue sky. The photo is also well composed and framed.

A brightly capture avian stunner
With gorgeous illumination!
Pin sharp focusing.
Bright lighting.
Nice subject placement in the frame.
The low vantage point enhanced the visual language and power dynamics of this image!

Cloudless skyline lends a soothing backdrop!

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Beautiful capture, Grace, showing this impressive Cedar Waxwing perched on the slender branch. I like the plain blue sky background which shows him off well. Excellent lighting and focus showing a beautifully crisp image. Great composition. Suzanne

Koidak Moment Alert Level 10 !! You certainly caught this guy keeping a watchful eye over his domain E. Beautiful vibrant colors with subtle contrasts and crisp details presented in EVision. Now if you'll excuse me I have a sudden urge to hear " All Along The Watchtower "

Thank you! Lol, which version? Hendrix, Dylon, Clapton, Grateful Dead, Supertramp, Van Morrison, Pearl Jam, U2, Neil Young, Dave Matthews or another?.....I would guess Hendrix
reply by Paul Stanner on 14-Jul-2019
You'd be wrong. There is only ONE version and that one is Bob Dylan's. Gordon Lightfoot did a similar song the title of which escapes me at the moment but it was just as good as " All Along The Watchtower ".
