Just beautiful Susan, you cant fault the detail,lighting and how those muted shadows really bring out the detail and shapes of the rose and of course those lovely pinks!

This is such a beautifully lush blossom. Its many layers of ruffled petals remind me of the starched petticoats I wore as a little girl. The bud and the bloom just peeking from behind this large blossom follows the rule of three quite nicely. I am also drawn to that rustic red leafed tree in the background.

Gorgeous pink rose, I love the ruffled look of this like a little girls party dress , the pink tones go from deep to an almost white on the outer portion, this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones are natural,well composed and presented!
