Nice collection of images of this blackbird with a cherry, I like the way the lower two images show that he has eaten part of the cherry! Well focused, clear images, well managed exposure, good storytelling! Well composed and presented!

I see two cherries: the red one, the bird is eating and an orange one;
a good collage with this black bird in four different positions;: good framing with sharp focus;

Fred,
Merci beaicoup mille fois for your complementary review on this ,ale Blackbird enjoying a feast on first the Yellow (Before I took these photos on my first round of the Park) on my second round he was eating the riper Red Cherry. The Cherries on higher branches are left to the birds as we can't bring ladders into the Park to pick them!

I love the different poses you've caught in this beautiful collage, Susan, showing the blackbird eating the cherry - how lovely that you grew a tree from a pip and transplanted it. You must have very green fingers! Very good lighting and focus showing nice sharp images. Great composition. Suzanne

Suzanne,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this hungry Blackbird.... I just threw the cherry pips into the garden never expecting anything. The following summer I was weeding my flower bed & fount the Cherry sapling that I was about to pull up when I heard they wanted trees in the Park..I donated & after a year in the chairperson's garden it was planted in the park & started to produce the day after..

What a great story Susan. Suzanne

Another lovely collage idea Susan this is now becoming your way of displaying and putting together one subject which for me works well! As with these four it tells a story of what the blackbird was doing in that brief moment in time!

Adrian,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this hungry male Blackbird who I saw pecking off the cherry from the tree while I was walking Juno round the park twice.He did not seem to perturbed by Juno straining on her lead. Thanks too for understanding my reason for posting them in a collage.
