The colors of this plant are great. The shape is nice too. I like how the leaves are long and layered and form peaks. Your diagonal placement inside the frame is also very attractive.

It's a wonderful use of complementary colors! The yellow thrown in there with the red just adds a little spark to the flower! Having the subject enter the picture from the bottom left towards the center brings the viewer's eyes right into the picture to the focal point. Very nice job thank you for sharing!

I really like these colorful blooms, and you have pictured this one so well. I also like the green foliage as a background because it offers some textures. Still it is nicely softened for the flower to stand out in an excellent way.
The focus on the flower is nice and sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen. I also think the exposure is spot on.
The format and framing is very good and I like the diagonal placement of the flower off to the left. A truly lovely and well taken flower photo, and with a very good DOF.

Very nice shot of this exotic flower and plant. The angled view adds interest. Good focus on the flower with strong detail. The petals almost have a translucent feel to them. Nice soft background in a contrasting color sets the flower off nicely. Well seen.

A fine photo of the bromeliad. You could say it is on ð??¥. I am wandering if that part of Florida is swap land. It is funny that the colours are the color of flame because you said it is very hot where you took the photo.

Actually south Florida used to be pretty much swamp land, however I took this photo in my garden! Yes the summers are hot here in the 90's most days with the humidity the heat factor in the 100's.
