I love this but what is macro art. I find that technological stuff so difficult to guage and review. what am I reviewing? a machine representation of art, something I am against infact, as the human element is being wiped out of so many things. But I do love this image.

Thank you. Macro is taking something small, such as an insect and painting it larger than life.

I remember the photo. You painted a good adaptation. The refinement of detail is impressive, especially the wings. I like the coloring. The changed background works well. I think that the framing is a bit too tight, especially at the right where the wings are cut off.

Thank you. It?s my cropping that cut off the wing but you are right that I cut it too tightly. I am working on that flaw.

It takes a lot of patience to draw those wings, and I must say your work stands out. Not only is it drawn to proportion, but that you colours such beautiful contrasting colours is a plus to your beautiful creation.

It was a nice picture...But there's a bug on it and i hate bugs ever since ! It would be great if there were just flowers and no bugs on them ! Can you paint flowers instead of bugs,please? It would be beautiful to paint them instead of some creepy looking bugs ! PLEASE!

The dragongfly itself is superbly done and all the surroundings really take second place against the dragonfly but they are also very well painted and add the colours, a great contest enrty!
