when i 1st saw it i kept saying.."wow! get that much detail out of watercolors!" then i saw the notes..then i gave a big big grin..the dragonfly in markers...hehehehe..sorry..im a sharpie/bic cartoonist..its nice to see my medium does help you artist (thumbs up)..lolol..sorry i couldnt resist! the body form and language is excellent. the details is excellent (of course) the depth is excellent. the floral forms s great. the shading is excellent. the blend of the colors is awesome. the creation is well balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative and awesome work overall(clapping)

The detail work in this piece is really amazing. From the flowers and background to the details on the dragonfly it all adds to the initial impact. You really did a great job on this, I am sure the contest voters will think the same!

Very pretty, like the pastel colours and the softness of the whole artwork. The emphasis on the dragonfly to show his detail is good, however I think I tiny bit more on his body and head would have popped it! It's nonetheless very nice!

I especially like the delicate look of this water color painting because of all the lovely pastel colors, but you have also pictured the dragonfly in a very good way, and especially the wings are done paying very good attention to even the smallest details.
Your brushwork is smooth and accurate, and it is good use of high lights. I also like the contrast between the whimsical looking flowers and the clean lines of the dragonfly.
The format and framing is very good, and I like the slight diagonal placement of the dragonfly. Indeed a lovely and well done water color painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.
