Oh this is a nice one Suzanne. I really like the colors you used as it gives such a frozen leaf appearance.

The details are very sharp and the colors blend so well together. Great idea using the inflated rubber glove! Genius.

Another very cool work of art Suzanne ~ Steve

This is great work Suzanne. I like how you achieved maximum and impressive results by mixing the colors in separate pots in order to gain resemblance of life-like feathers. The colors work very well together and the texture is great. Well done.

They could be feathers indeed. Or they could be leaves falling from a tree and swirling down into dark water. Those swirling things reflect in the silvery light of the moon and in our imagination. The composition is exquisitely balanced and framed.

I see bird feathers every day at the wetlands floating in the water, stuck on reeds and this looks very much like what I see.
Very cool textures, feather shapes and great color choices.
Rubber gloves, blow dryer, cocktail straws...who knew they make so much art and fun!!
Nice work Suzanne :)

This is up to your usual very high standards Suzanne, yes love the feathers they look like them and for me there seems to be another element within this, it has that look sand feel of ice as if the feathers have been frozen in water like an abstract still life and again love those blues!

Very nice image. Good to see how you continue to experiment and grow. These look more like they are floating on water than in the wind. There is a more solid sense of resting on a surface than the lightness of blowing in the wind. Good colors (Prussian Blue was a favorite color for me when I was doing scene painting.) Nice textures and shapes. Well executed.

Suzanne,
This is both beautiful & eye catching image of these feathers floating in the breeze the light catching them out of the darkness in the background. Created by your artist's eye for composition, knowledge of paint & other artist's fluids & how they might react when mixed in creation of this abstract image.

Very awesome to see these feathers in shades of blue with white and the sense of motion , they appear to be falling in the wind, I really like the shapes of the feathers and the way they catch the light as they fall! Very pretty against the dark background! Well presented!

I really like the balloon method and how it creates the feathery appearance you achieved in this image. The colors are so very nice too. These shapes make great feathers and leaves.
