Yes, they did and I stayed up to watch them on TV! Your fine image is a nice reminder of their fantastic achievement. Your dramatic composition offers us an enjoyable view of our moon. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

A beautiful picture of the half Moon glowing in the dark sky with a lot of details visible on it's surface. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. I sat up on that night 50 years ago watching the men landing on the Moon on a Black & White TV.

I remember that song - and your macro really invite for a walk as you managed it to have the surface clear and sharp in details to see the structure of the moons "face" - excellent framing , super use of space -the black and white shows even more details - contrast and lighting are spot on , well done

I really like this phase of the moon as one can really see the shadows created by the craters on its surface. I like the way the sunlight illuminates the surface with a soft glow.
