It is such a beautiful place you have pictured here Chris, and I think this is a great entry into this contest. I especially like how the branches on the left are working as a nice and natural framing, and also how lovely the light is falling on them. The river works as a perfect leading line bringing the viewer into the composition.
The photo is nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details all over, and the exposure is very good. I also think you have captured the running water so well.
The format and framing is perfect, and with the river off to the right, it is a very good balance in the composition. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Nice shot of the stream and country side. Good leading line to take us back. Did you use a polarizer on this? If not it might have helped kill some of the glare. Good water movement captured. Nice composition to give the feel of the location. Well seen.

This is a lovely shot, I love the setting, love the subject, beautiful contrasts and light in the flowing water you can almost reach in and touch it as well as hearing it, those trees on either side make a great frame for the water, its indeed a very idyllic looking location! Good luck with the cintest!

Excellent framing. The flow of the river takes the viewer right down stream into the scene. Colors and tones are natural. Focus is sharp. Good luck in the contest.
