Kelly..all my work is done with sharpie and Bic pens..half century and thousands of drawings..that means thousands of screw ups till I finally got it right... lol..thanks for the great review

kelly the only advantage i have is 50 years of playing with them..thats all...now dont be mad..i had to pull that entry from the purple art humor contest..dummy me didnt pay attention that is blind..besides the contest police would have pulled it right before the contest..the reason why is i sign everything that i post..that is not allowed in the blind contest..sorry.

I didn't see this contest. Normally I don't do specials for contests but rummage in what I have already, but now finding they can help practice and inspire to new ideas. This one of yours does that for me. It has humour, candles on heads? and seriousness but fun expressions in those faces, and are they encased in bells? what an inspired selection of pieces put together. The artwork shows excellent drawing skills also. Not sure from your notes, rambling a bit lol whether you are in time for the comp, if so good luck.

Lolol.. rambling cause I was pissed at myself for not catching the topic right..why don't you get a small pack of sharpies or Bic pens (they are chest) and come join me in this contest ..it's for fun and get an idea of what my office medium is like? Wink.. thanks for the great review

This is an incredible piece love the purple in it the different heads shows power and there is a spiritual meaning to it. The candles burning is light and hope of some kind. I love it congratulations .

Ah man this is cool. I like the creativity and color you put into it. The attention to detail is great. This definitely would've been a great entry into the purple humor contest. The technique and presentation is excellent.

I like your take on the Burn album cover! Making their faces purple is an amusing addition. I think the candles and their flames look especially nice. It would have been a good purple entry! You must have coffee first :)

You need to look at the burn album..the only thing I took was the concept of it..here is the funny part..I haven't viewed that album in decades but always remember the approach on the cover.. everything on this work is all creation from me.. wink.. thanks for the review

You apparently painted those purple guys after coffee. They are pretty good. This is a sophisticated creation, apparently with lots of meaning. Interesting that there a fife which build two triangles. I like that all faces show different expressions. They look familiar. I have the feel that I know some of those peoples. Anyway they look really good performing excellently in their own candle spot lights. I think is good that you post in your own contest, it might inspire other artists.
