This is way cool Mark! Deep Purple! Smoke On The Water! Each purple face is well created with good shape and structure, well shown facial features , eyes closed, candles lit and the wax is melting! Awesome shades of purple! Well created and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Terrific idea Mark the heavy rock band Deep Purple would love this it would also make a superb album cover, love the design, love those candles with the purple light if I had a 6 left this would getit! A great contest entry!

Took me a second, but it came to me . Started singing smoke on the water immediately. You have some very cool shades of purple in there. Your artwork is better then the 1974 burn album cover they did like that. Ok so i guess I'm just jealous, i sometimes wish I was around when all of these bands where coming out with all those great old albums, like when Led Zeppelin released or Pink Floyd. Just doesn't happen any more. So ok maybe the stones are still dropping albums but not the same. Or I would have wanted to be a old time geaser with a sweet leather jacket and a bad ass old ride . With windows I have to role down myself and suicide doors. Like from the old movie the outsiders. Thanks and take it easy John

I think this is a cool rendition of deep purple. The varied expressions and characteristics on the faces are good. I really like the purple glow around the lit candles.
