This is really beautiful work Diane! The brush strokes are so well done it makes her fur look very realistic - so soft and pet-able :) The blending of colors is also very well done and realistic. Beautiful work!

A fantastic portrait painting - the background color is very well chosen as the deep purple and wine red are colors of transformation and universal love and these dogs for sire bring both - excellent use of space - fantastic detail work o his special fur and his face expression - I love the way you have finished the lower part with his beautiful hair - a very staking and impacting painting -glad you are back -well done

thank you but this was not done from a photograph, I used the photograph as reference, it is entirely a digital painting only. thank you alakapat for taking the time to review this piece, sorry for not making it clear how I painted this. Thanks for letting me know that apparently it appears I said I manipulated the photograph.
