Sadly I still didn't pay attention that this contest is blind..since I signed it, that disqualified me of the contest..so I had Tom pull it from the contest..oh well, need to knock out a drawing for one of my grandsons and get back on this video..thanks for the great review.

Man, I think this would've been a great entry into the contest. I hate to see that you had them pull it. I notice many of these contests are blind. Hope all goes well with the video.

All is good..I got a lil ahead of schedule and jumped at these small contest..yeah a lot of cool topics are blind..at least I made the sharpie/Bic art contest non blind..try that.one..hint hint..lol..our flowernaut has 2 more planets to visit before I can do the conclusion of the story..lil soiler alert there..wink..also my youngest grandson is requesting a captain America poster for his birthday..got 2 weeks to knock that out..the only hardest thing on the FAN video is getting folks to participate..the rest will be easy..yeah the plate is full for a lil bit.. wink

I think I will try the Bic sharpie contest. I like participating in the contests because it pushes me to try different mediums and to challenge me to get better with my art.

Good frame of mind.. lil different with me. I'm always pushing my medium and see how far my story telling ability can go . Kevin I don't consider myself as an artist like you and others ... yall express yourself in creativity..me I'm just an old cartoonist/illustrator.. we tell stories..if we don't draw it right the viewer wouldn't understand the story... besides since I never had any art classes.my teachers were DC, marvel, warren publishing and Heavy Metal illustrated..took me almost a decade to finally folks would acknowledge sharpie and Bic..lol..I just had a spark of memory..in my early years when I would show a drawing I would get comments like "cool drawing..so when you are gonna do some real artwork?"..I would ask what they consider real artwork.. the usual response.. painting charcoal , etc..made me realize they consider me as a office medium..makes sense..makes me stand over the umpteen million..yeah..I'll own that one..I'm a office medium cartoonist/illustrator..course in contest I matter how well drawn my medium can hold me back..oh well I'm happy in my lil world...wink

I'm starting to see what you mean now Mark about the blind contests. You can't sign your name on them and you run the risk of being disqualified if you do.

I think you improvised on the fly very nicely! This is a great purple entry. I think it's amusing and the characters look a little spooky. Don't worry the one eyed, one horned flying purple people eaters wont eat you cause you're too tough!

Tough but not observant..I didn't notice this one is blind too .since I signed it, it is now disqualified, so I had Tom pull it. Another reason why I stick with just the committee contest.. they are never blind..what a waste of time.now need to get back to my projects..thanks for the great review

Sadly bro it does show..it's signed on bottom left corner. Since I didn't know this is blind as well that disqualified me with the signature..I already had Tom pull it from the contest. Glad ya like and thanks again for the great review.

This is awesome Flood (pretty sure that's who this is haha). The lights showcasing the monsters in the background help them stand out really well. The color purple has been well used and is showcased nicely everywhere. Really good detail work and rendering the colors. Good luck!

Sadly I didn't notice this is blind as well. I don't post any of my work without my trademark signature. Signing it disqualified me from the contest so I had Tom pull it. Thanks for the awesome review

Sadly Top I have to admit I screwed up .this one is blind as well..I multi task too much..lol..oh well this is now disqualified since I signed it..well I'm burning daylight and I have a birthday present and a music video to get back on.. thanks Top for the great review
