A beautiful picture of this male Redwing Blackbird perched in
among the reeds & rushes growing at the water's edge. The bonus of the reflected Blackbird adds interest. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

The reflection shows up really nice and I think the clear stillness of this water is super attractive and looks more like glass than water! I think the colors look nice and the red patch stands out well.

What a great shot! At first glance I thought there was a bird sitting upside down in the reeds! The water is so clear it is like it is a mirror. it makes for a very interesting photograph, obviously was great symmetry. This is a wonderful entry in this contest!

A very nice shot. The reflection is outstanding and the cat tails make a great setting. The eye is barely visible in the black feathers, but the colors are quite natural. Best of luck in the contest.
