This one looks a lot like the tiny wrens we have here. I guess your feeder feels safe enough for the bird to go in and out as though he is in the underbrush. The colors of his feathers look nice.

It is not often that the viewer gets to see both sides of the same subject in one composition. That is what makes this one interesting. Your creativity in putting it together is very clever.

Perfect timing. Yes, that's what it's all about. You made a great catch, not only because you were there, but because you knew exactly what to do and when.

It's a great shot and I like the green background. It's all beautiful. Well done and keep it coming.

Interesting information! Collage was a good choice for showing the bird in two spots. Green background is a great color. I feel there is still something about the way the two photos intersect that could be less distracting. Not sure how you would do that though!

    Lora,
Thanks a million for your review.
I could have cropped the photo on the left more closely but as I wanted to show the reason the Wren had entered the feeder I had to show the Mealworms on it's left. In that picture you can see it's head, eye stripe, long beak & eye while in the other it shows it's round body & distinctive up turned tail. This is NOT a contest entry.

Your pair of nice nature shots reveal just what these tiny birds have to do to get food! Your lovely and natural image benefits from being well composed, sharp with good exposure. Well taken and presented!

    Nik,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this tiny Wren. I think some people here will not understand or recognise the Wren.
