I love this portrait as well as the colors. I love the detail in the blanket as well as the cat details. The picture looks very realistic but you need to work on more shadows as well as highlights to bring it a three-dimensional look. Keep up the good job.

When executing this piece I carefully considered both the colors and technique I used. I wanted to achieve a sense of realism. I think I succeeded. Thank you for your review of my work.

Salem looks just like my daughters cat! She is well created with good shape and structure, beautiful green eyes and nice show of the texture and tones of her fur, she is in a relaxed pose on the soft pink pillow and I see she has a ball of yarn in front of her, interesting stripped background, well created with nice detail , I like the position of this black cat in the scene. Well presented!
