Haha! Many thanks for your great review. Yes, it's a fun technique. I find that mixing the acrylic paint with PVA glue and sometimes a drop of coconut milk hair serum helps to create the cells and interesting marks. Look forward to seeing yours. Suzanne

I really like this one. I think it is the purple and white blending so nicely around the edge of the circle. Much different than some of the others you have shared. You do make so many beautiful things.

Susan - this is very cool! I really like the way the glaze (paint) appears to be intentionally left from full coverage of the coaster, allowing a small piece of the actual clay to be present. I find that gives the piece a neat 3D look. Thin of coarse is the flowers you've created with a balloon. Successfully done and beautifully presented. The colors, patterns, designs - it all comes together and creates a very attractive piece.

Susan - this is very cool! I really like the way the glaze (paint) appears to be intentionally left from full coverage of the coaster, allowing a small piece of the actual clay to be present. I find that gives the piece a neat 3D look. Thin of coarse is the flowers you've created with a balloon. Successfully done and beautifully presented. The colors, patterns, designs - it all comes together and creates a very attractive piece.

It looks like 3D imade. Perfectly round coaster reminds a plate. The center of the srt is so intense and shows the movement to the right upper line. Nice combination of the colors and floral elements. Good luck in the contest!

Oh this is another wonderfully abstract work Suzanne. I see the flowers and the intricate swirls and eddies of the paints. Cropped up close this would make a Wonderful and unique abstract. Those central colors are amazing.

This one does have a lovely sense of flowers to the design. The creamy white background is perfect for the colors. The cells made great designs that compliment the overall design well.
