I'll be honest, those red eyes give me the creeps! But he does have nice coloring in the feathers. Very nice shot of him swimming on that water that looks as smooth as glass.

This one makes me smile for the neat reflection - I love the simplicity of the water background as it gives you a calm and harmonious image with double effect - hyper clear and sharp the reflection does not lose sharpness either - a calm and well composed picture - contrast is excellent and the light is very unique as it just surrounds the bird like magic, well done, Grace

Great focus captures all the detail in the grebes plumage and face, great light highlights the saturated but natural colours which contrast really well, pin sharp clarity, love the
Side profile showing the head plume and red eye, very well positioned in the frame, strong reflection on the water really adds to the scene. Beautiful.
