This is a great capture! The eagle looks very majestic and wise. I'm really glad she was able to be rescued, because a wing injury to these guys can be debilitating. Great work once again!!

Poor eagle. Wow! 26 years old. Unfortunate wing injury. You captured a great photo of her with a clear image. I'm sure she misses flying but at least she's being cared for. Thanks for sharing

Thank you for your great comments! I agree that it is sad, bittersweet I guess. I can't imagine any winged creature not being able to fly, hopefully they do in their dreams.

It's plumage puffed out Maybe to make other birds around it fear it's size. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
