What a great shot of a great bird! Your composition is excellent. The focus is super sharp. Cannot say enough about the glint in the eagle's eye combined with the facial expression showing off the spirit of this great raptor. Lighting, white balance, colors and contrast all are spot on.

Another really beautiful photograph of this majestic eagle Envision! Her feathers look so soft and contain a lot of detail. Her story is a sad one but am glad she is being taken care of :) I am glad you shared her story!

She is beautiful. It is sad to think that she will never fly again. You captured exquisite detail. Even the small feathers have refined detail. The eye is especial impressive. The bird is well placed into the frame. The photo has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color very much.

That is Dad for her to never be able to glide through the skies any longer, but also fortunate she's been well cared for. She is beautiful and I enjoy the angle of her portrait and if course the superb focus.

Thank you! I agree completely. It is so sad for her, and for any bird to lose their ability to fly. I imagine she dreams and longs to fly when she is awake too. I really hope she can dream of flying and soaring when sleeping and that it feels like reality for her.
