I will never tire of views like this. How the waves run over the dark beach and splash on the rocks is impressive. The clouds and haze above the mountains in the background are interesting. The blue sky above and the light on the rocks are enthralling. The photo is well composed, balanced and framed.

Thanks so much Charlie! I?ve done a lot of fishing in the rain! The fish don?t mind the rain at all!

I'm with ups on that Pat. Seems like I've transferred my ability to attract rain from fishing to photography. Could be a carryover from the time I spent in the Air Force weather service tracking storms. Both times I was in Alaska, it rained every day, but at least when I was fishing I had rain pants and hooded rain jackets.

The sea framed by the rocky cliffsthe black beach Mariner beach with the tide coming in over it's black volcanic sand on the beach at the foot of the sloping rocky cliffs & in the distant blue mountains in the background with the clouds floating over the summits under a blue sky. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques sharp focus.
