well, I was born 1945 in the East, after we were ''liberated'' by the Red Army, so this has a lot of meaning for me. Your blue creature just needs to be one of them. Excellently drawn as is always the case with your work.

this is too cool and so sad. the frighten kids tears at the heart strings. The alien in the back ground makes one want to fight, just like they did in War of the World , ( the new version with tom cruise is my favorite LOL) This is way too cool.

Life is kinda like riding a horse..oh there are ups and downs and ya just don't know when she is gonna buck and if you can hang on..that horse might take you on long ride or he might catch a stone ..one thing for sure when that horse dies that's it..the ride is over.. wink

Music to my ears..I never really wanted to be the top artist.. me telling a story thru illustrations and the audience understands every image and they are entertained is my goal.. seeing repeated folks viewing to see what is going to happen next is so cool and enriching. The majority of this video I have drawn in sequence to the story. However, I did skip a few images which I'll complete those near the end. Its gonna confuse them but I'll be working on the video then. When posted all will be revealed with a goal to make the audience laugh..that's what my "Funnie Flowers" cartoon series is..a light hearted look at life ...if you desire to see what I mean on that one do a title search for "bungle in the jungle"..when you pull up that cartoon look close to the title and you will see a small triangle with numbers by it..click the triangle and it will lead you to about 150 cartoons..the series has over 450 skits..plus they have 3 music videos on YouTube if you want to check em there. Thanks for the awesome review

Great rendering of the topic Mark. I remember that movie very well. I can still hear the sound that the showering rays made as the head coming out of the ship went around destroying everything.

They are mean 'cause they have been picking up our TV signals and seeing what WE watch. Poor little thing,yes,seeing your parents being killed by these scary aliens would be truly horrible,even if they were finally able to drift off to sleep,the horror would manifest itself the second they woke up. good depiction of the horrors of the invasion with the aliens snatching up people and laying to waste everything in their path. Poor little girl,not even her doll will give her comfort and security now...

Lol.. painted?..forgive me for laughing but I don't paint..I don't work with any art medium..mine is a office medium..after decades of fighting to get my medium to be accepted in the art community.. finally a lil decade ago they accept me..but only as a cartoon...so your comments is almost exact what they would say..it's better than have someone say hey that's cool drawing..so when you are gonna do some real artwork like painting..if only I had a nickel for Everytime comments made like that..don't worry I become numb to it..at least I can say that I have worked with this medium of over 1000's drawings for the last half century..lol..let me show you what I really do..go to YouTube.com and search me "MKFlood". There you will find numerous illustrated music videos with wide range of music and stories.. wanna what a Master Sharpie/Bic illustrator can do with these pens..check em out..I dare ya..wink.. thanks for the review

No defense needed..I just go along with it cause that is all folks identify me as..you know what's funny when the first time I was awarded Traditional artist of the year I laughed and laughed..me.. cartoonist who doesn't use art material is awarded that..them last year they award artist of the year. Sure didn't see that coming. Who ever thought a sharpie/Bic cartoonist/illustrator would get that. I even asked them did they send it to the right email..lol..
